“I can do this on my own.”

The brutal truth is, if you could, you would have already.

Dear product manager,

We love when people say, “I can do this on my own.”

Because if you think you can, then you should.

The problem is, a lot of people say, “I can do this on my own,” but don’t realize, if they could, they would have done it already.

So, if you’re thinking, “Thanks for the lessons, Sid. But I’ve got it from here,” by all means, you should do it.

But, just to give you a little insight into what I have seen….

There are 31 obstacles you’re going to run into.

And when you do, you’re going to end up paying for it in:

  • Time: It’s going to take you a a lot of hours to figure out how to overcome each of these obstacles “on your own.”

  • Headspace: It’s going to consume a lot of mental bandwidth thinking about how to tackle each of these obstacles “on your own.”

  • Frustration: And the longer it takes to overcome any one of these obstacles, the more it’s going to frustrate you, and the more likely it will be that you’ll just give up—because growth (in any area of life) is always harder when you try to figure it out “on your own.”

So, just a little heads up, here are 31 obstacles you’re going to run into on your interview preparation journey—all of which we help you solve (effortlessly!) in this course

  1. “I don’t know where to start.”

  2. “There are so many things to do, I don’t know which one to focus on first.”

  3. “I don’t know what my strengths are as a PM.”

  22. “I keep practicing interview questions but don’t feel like I’m improving.”

  23. “The aspects of PM that I’m really good at aren’t what interviewers seem to focus on, and I feel stuck.”

  24. "I don’t know how to ask insightful questions at the end of the interview to show my interest and understanding."

  25. "I struggle with anxiety and nervousness during interviews, which affects my performance."

  26. “I feel like I’ve acquired valuable PM skills, but I struggle to show them in an interview.”

  30. “I want to use PM interviews to position myself for career growth but don’t know the roadmap for getting there.”

  31. “I want to connect with other aspiring PMs but haven’t found a welcoming community to share experiences and tips.”

How do we know you’re going to run into these 31 obstacles (and many more)?

Because we have worked with over 1,000 people who are trying to ace PM interviews.

And they ALL asked the same questions, faced the same fears, and had the same demotivating faulty beliefs—but after our coaching and mentorship they realised that, “It wasn’t as hard or as scary as I thought it would be!”

Which is why we have had hundreds and hundreds of people think of our guidance as a “life-changing experience.”

That is also the reason we wanted to convert all our knowledge, experience, and guidance into a comprehensive and structured course. So you can consume it at your convenience the way you like it.

I could go on and on about how useful this course has been for PM all across the globe.

Because it is way more than just an online course.

It's a way to improve every area of your professional profile, make lifelong connections, accelerate your career, even become a PM coach yourself.

If you’re still reading, then I know you are committed to learning how to master interviews (and accelerate your career.)

And all we want is to see you reach your full potential.

Here is a sneak peek into what you get when you buy the course:

  1. Core lessons: 2-3 core lessons every day for 12 days.

  2. Activities: daily activities that will force you to translate the theory into practice, help you internalise the learnings, and show you how others are solving the same challenges that you have.

  3. Bonus resources: with every core lesson, you get a list of extra resources that will help you go the extra mile (if you want to) during your preparation

  4. Community: Access to an invite-only community (hosted on Skool) where you will meet hundreds of other PMs who are in the same journey facing the same challenges as you.

Stay tuned! Just one more day to go before pre-orders open for you.

Tomorrow, I share the detailed 12 day plan (with actual screenshots) so you know exactly what you get when you buy on the 1st of June.

We hope to see you onboard!
